Financial Controller - Dunstable (Hybrid) - £70,000 to £80,000 + Bonus & Car Allowance

We are working with a listed FMCG company as they search for their next Financial Controller as the current FC of 6 years is leaving, you will be reporting into the EMEA FC and have direct line management of a Management Accountant.

The EMEA FC has been with the business for 9 years, she started as a Management Accountant, was promoted to UK FC before being promoted to the EMEA FC 6 years ago, she tells us she has stayed so long as the company is always evolving, there is always something to do and every day is a little bit different.

The usual bits you'll be doing in this role....

• Take ownership of key financial statements and forecasts including the P&L, balance sheet, net working capital, capital investment and free cash flow.
• Lead the annual budget process (zero based budgets)
• Manage the month-end close process, including analysis, review, and sign-off of financial results
• New product costings process.
• Preparing and presenting key functional and wider site information
• Oversee preparation of weekly management P&L, including revenue, labour, production variances, PPVs waste and overhead reporting and analysis
• Monthly VAT returns and other local regulatory reporting as required.
• Lead the monthly forecasting, capital expenditure planning and standard costing processes.

To be considered for this role you will be....

• Fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Have experience working ain a large, complex organisation
• Ideally you will have an FMCG or Manufacturing background

Salary/Benefits....

• £70,000 to £80,000 base salary
• £6,000 car allowance
