The institutional equity division of Merrion Stockbrokers provides an independent and focused research and dealing service in Irish equities. This division services a global institutional audience from our base in Dublin and has built a reputation for high quality, independent research and sales service. In the most recent survey of Irish brokers carried out by the Finance Survey of domestic and international clients, we won the key dual categories of analyst of the year and salesperson of the year. For the second year in a row, we won the title of most objective research.

Research

Merrion's research is widely recognized as being the most independent and objective in the marketplace. Our philosophy is to be accountable for our research recommendations and publish our top stock picks in our Merrion Model. This fund has consistently outperformed the market since we launched it in 2000. The stocks currently in our Model are available on our client website. Our analysts have also been rewarded with high rankings in client surveys winning the award for Top Financial Analyst in both the most recent Extel and Finance Surveys and Analyst of the Year in the latter.

All of Merrion Capital's institutional equities salespeople have considerable experience in research and analysis which results in a better understanding of companies/sectors and, accordingly, a higher quality service to our clients. As with our research, the quality of our sales team has been recognized by clients in surveys with our team winning three of the top five sales positions in the Finance survey, as well as winning the salesperson of the year award.

Merrion Stockbrokers Wealth Management division provides High Net Worth clients with high quality investment advice and services in equities, bonds, property and cash management. We believe strongly in the value of personal contact and in building strong and lasting client relationships and our independence sets us apart from the competition. Our Objective is to provide superior returns on investments through active management of portfolios. We have a highly skilled team of portfolio managers, each of whom has on average over ten years of experience in funds management and/or Stock Broking. All of our clients have a dedicated portfolio manager.
