Tax Manager - Contract

Marks Sattin are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our clients successful tax team for a 6 month maternity cover contract. Reporting to the Tax Partners, the Tax Manager will assist in the running of the Tax department ensuring the provision of excellent tax advice and deadlines being met.

The tax department offers a full spectrum of tax services and the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work across numerous tax heads.

This role will be as follows:

• Full management and delivery of successful corporation tax deadlines
• Delivery of tax advice to individuals
• Full commercial management for portfolio of client work
• Working closely with other departments within the firm to identify opportunities to assist existing clients
• Coordinating work of junior staff
• Working closely with staff on training & development

The successful candidate should have the following:

• 3/4 years PQE - ITI and/or ACA or ACCA
• Management experience required
• Proven ability to have a good attention to detail
• Experience with managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Experience within a legal environment is an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of alpha tax is an advantage
• Excellent IT skills (including all MS Office applications)
• Very strong communication and organisational skills
