Tax Analyst

Position:

• Analysis of quarterly tax results and assistance with the preparation of quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Journal preparation and posting into both the Sub Ledger and Financial System
• Investigation & closure of open reconciliation items; investigate issues thoroughly to determine root causes and escalation to Management
• Preparation of inter-company tax settlements and federal tax settlements
• Assistance with preparation of return-to-accrual reconciliations and preparation of adjusting entries for corporation tax, deferred tax and VAT

Individual:

• 1-2 years business experience in a finance function in a multinational company
• Tax /accounting background - part qualified AITI
• Interest in learning about business tax matters
• Good understanding of the financial dynamics of a business.
• Business understanding and strong commercial focus
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills (written and oral)
• Ability to extract and summarise information using pivot tables/MS Access
• Microsoft Office - Excel & Access
• ORACLE (Required)
• Excellent written and spoken in English
