The major responsibilities include:
·Conduct detailed company analysis based on financial accounts
·Conduct detailed sector analysis based on industry trends and developments
·Build detailed financial models
·Produce regular, accurate and thought provoking research reports
·Analyse and forecast company and market trends and provide sector analysis plus trading ideas
·Conduct relevant analysis to ensure high quality Market investment ideas are communicated to our growing high net worth client base
·Ensure all relevant view points are communicated effectively to media channels.
This particular opportunity has exceptional career potential given that the position is integral to that of our client’s succession plan, and would see the incumbent step up into a Head of Equity Research Position over a short period of time.
You will have gained a broad understanding of a variety of market sectors although will ideally have covered one to two of these sectors extensively and will be keen to develop those around you also. You will ideally be CFA and or hold an Accountancy Qualification and will have worked within a similar position for at least the preceding 5 years coming from either buy or sell side.
