Risk and Compliance Manager

Our client is leading provider of Wealth/Asset Management Solutions to a suite of High Net Worth and Institutional clients alike. With the continued recovery and growth across European and Global Markets they are keen to bolster their Operations team with a strong and highly motivated Compliance Manager to develop further the compliance and regulatory frameworks and team currently in situ.

Some of the Major Tasks associated with the role are:

• Provision of advice on the design, implementation and approval of new products e.g. investment and pension products;
• Provision of ad hoc advice to the business as required and act as a key advisor to management;
• Provision of guidance and advice to the business on a wide range of compliance and regulatory mattes
• Co-ordinate and prepare high quality regulatory reports to regulators
• Assistance with the implementation of the Central Bank's Client Asset Requirements and assume responsibility for the ongoing monitoring of same;
• Compile regulatory company returns for the Central Bank ofIreland;
• Responsibility for keeping informed of regulatory developments inIrelandandEuropeand advising the business accordingly
• Liaise with regulators to address daily regulatory enquiries and engage with them on regular inspection visits;
• Project work as required;
• Provide training to staff on compliance related topics;
• Carry out monitoring functions as required.

This position has a huge amount of scope and will see the successful candidate act as the central point of excellence from a Compliance perspective as well as lead and guide a small sized team. You will ideally have gained at least 9 years Compliance experience with at least 4 of these at Managerial level.

The salary Package plus benefits would be above market rate and as the industry continues to develop further you will be tasked with continued development within the team and department.
