Our client is an award winning global professional services firm focused exclusively on the asset management, investment banking and broking industries. They provide a full range of consulting, advisory and assurance services to clients using their own unique approach.

Responsibility to Clients:

• To respond to client requests and needs.
• To keep clients informed of progress and maintain contact with clients but to ensure that members are aware of all ongoing matters.
• To control the assignment and ensure that the client is aware of any outstanding information.
• To ensure assignments are completed within agreed budgets and keep clients/members informed of overrun.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

Essential

• Audit trained

• ACA/ACCA Qualified - NQ - 2 years PQE
• Asset Management industry experience
• Proven practice management skills including ensuring audit assignments are undertaken within the agreed budget and that any anticipated cost overruns are advised to the members and managers promptly.
• Experience in the management of a number of audit assignments of various size.
• Good experience in auditing funds, under predominantly IFRS but US GAAP experience would be useful

Preferred

• Process/controls experience eg reporting/internal audit
• Participation in at least on ad-hoc special assignment.
