My Client - a leading Pharmaceutical Company are seeking Qualified Accountant with 2+ years experience in the manufacturing sector

Responsibilities:

1. Support work transitions between the Local finance Team and the Head Office
2. Partner effectively in a team environment to deliver quality finance services to the business
3. Encourage and manage continuous improvement projects necessary to support year-over-year productivity/efficiency objectives
4. Support the performance analysis of the team through appropriate metrics and actions
5. Oversee the approval of Capital POs
6. Oversee the computation of Shadow / Manual Depreciation schedule
7. Manage capital related accounting treatments for Disposals and Capitalizations.
8. Review and approve Capital-Related Reports and analytics
9. Manage depreciation budgeting and forecasting processes
10. Liaise with internal and external audit
11. Coordinates activities required to meet SOX and internal control requirements.
12. Balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly balance sheet reviews, month end close reports and journal entries as appropriate.
13. Manage relationship with Procurement to ensure alignment on PPV reporting and forecasting
14. Manages the processing of month end processes including deferrals, VEMP, interco entries, IPM, EAMS reconciliation
15. Prepare monthly finance performance report that is consolidated from sites across Europe
16. Oversee completion of balance sheet reconciliations of accruals and prepayment
17. Prepare forecasting and budgeting processes - raw material PPV's, spend, revaluations and deferrals, other cost of sales
18. Overhead calculation and allocation as pe costing methodology
19. Oversees the tracking of changes to forecast and actual versus forecast for spend and PPV
20. Ad Hoc Project Requirments

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA or CPA)
• 2 to 3 years PQE in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment
• Experience in core manufacturing finance skills including in month end processes, site forecasts, reporting budgeting and forecasting
• Strong ERP systems experience with either SAP , JDE or Oracle.
