Finance Analyst - Oil & Gas

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance team of a major Oil & Gas firm in South West London. The role is a vitally important one in support of the Tax Function in ensuring internal control over reporting in the external accounts.

This role will require the successful applicant to build relationships with the Finance Team, Group Tax and the Group Accounting and Reporting teams. This means that you are extremely visible across the firm globally and you will gain huge exposure to a wide variety of senior finance professionals. This is a global role that provides excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of accounting issues and a brilliant inside look at the businesses forecasting and reporting processes.

To be eligible for this role you must hold an internationally recognised professional qualification (such as an ACA/ACCA/CTA/CPA) and possess strong analytical, financial control, reporting and accounting skills preferably mixed with an understanding of tax. It is most likely that the successful applicant will be an experienced Assistant Manager in the Big 4 with an audit, tax or finance. Alternatively, someone who has moved in to industry in either a tax role or a core finance role is equally as attractive.
