As the momentum continues to return to Global and Domestic markets and with a certain focus and delivering exceptional research and market information to their client base, our client, a leading Domestic Stock Broking Firm with a long tradition in the domestic and global markets, is seeking to retain the services of a highly motivated and driven Equity Research Analyst to join their existing team in Dublin.
The major responsibilities will include:
· Basing your research on quantitative and qualitative techniques you will analyse financial data from a variety of listed institutions to ascertain their earning potential
· Ensure all research based activity is relevant within cross functional sectors and ensure trend analysis and also maintained to a very high level.
· Develop research based financial models to be used in the production of reports and recommendations on listed equities.
· Produce regular, accurate and thought provoking research reports
· Analyse and forecast company and market trends and provide sector analysis plus trading ideas
· Develop internal and sometimes external relationships to ensure all relevant recommendations are communicated effectively to Brokers and subsequently Clients a like.
The successful candidate will have gained at least 3 years experience in a similar environment and will have a broad understanding across a myriad of market sectors, with a penchant for one to two specific sectors.
