
Job Title: Department Manager
One of the leading global financial services company, is seeking to retain the service of a high calibre candidate to move into the role of Department
Manager overseeing 4 teams and 40 members of staff. The salary offered is circa €85k with additional benefits. Candidates from any background in financial
services will be considered.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the escalation for team leaders, Relationship Management team and Compliance within region
* Deliver the goals that have been set in terms of quality and productivity.
* Assist Team Leads in maintaining a workforce with capability to execute within agreed SLAs
* Ensure knowledgeable staff and continuous development plans in place for Teams
* Effectively maintain a highly efficient process within the area
* Ensure that the key processing controls in the department are maintained
* Proactive monitoring for the Pending Business to manage SLAs
* MIS reporting of processing
* Support with capacity planning / budgeting process
* Support with coordination of quality testing
* Support with the preparation for audits- both internal and external regulatory reviews
* Support with department projects / initiatives
Qualifications / Experience:
* Management in department of similar size
* Demonstrate ability to Lead and Motivate individuals
* Experience in banking or finance
* Experience in control/risk or Compliance (AML/KYC) function beneficial
* Demonstrated experience of optimization in processes beneficial
* Considerable experience of dealing with senior management
