Credit Controller- Contract role- Dublin

My client is an FMCG based in Ireland, with regional offices within the UK.

They experienced increased sales in the last year and as such are keen to hire an experienced credit controller, to join the expanding credit team.

This role, will report into the Finance manager and the credit control supervisor.

The role:

• Dealing with clients in pursuit of outstanding money
• Prioritising aged debt collection.
• Regular review of aged debtors and concentrating on outbound collection calls
• Issue statements and reminder letters
• Allocation of money that is received and updating of all accounts
• Production of month end reports in relation to aged debtors and credit reports
• Escalation of account , if needed, to credit control supervisor

The candidate:

• 2-3 years experience in a credit control environment.
• Proven track record in reducing debtor days- an ability to influence prompt payment
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Strong excel skills and proficient in the use of word and outlook
• Good telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure and off ones off initiative.

This is a CONTRACT role,its initially 8 months, with a view to extension.
