Our client is a Private Equity backed wholesale distribution business who requires an experienced and commercially focussed Chief Financial Officer to support the strategy and drive the growth of the business.

This is an all-round role reporting to the CEO with responsibility for all aspects of the finance function. With a track record of achievement, career progression and delivery of growth, you will be able to easily demonstrate your ability to deliver enhanced financial performance through the provision of accurate and timely management information and have experience of managing and improving a quality financial control and process environment.

You will be a commercially astute finance professional with a wholesale distribution background. As a key member of the management team you must be capable of supporting the team through their aggressive growth plans, whilst ensuring the day job is taken care of with quality reporting and compliance and providing a real focus on commercial analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing reporting and stakeholder relationships;
• Providing robust financial management to aid decision making;
• Drive both global organic growth and M&A;

This position requires someone with an eye for detail, the ability to look at the bigger picture and work alongside the management team developing business strategy in line with Board objectives. Management of autonomous banking relationships will play large part in this role positioning the business as a financially attractive and valuable asset for its shareholders.

You must be a qualified accountant with prior number one in finance experience, gained in a well-run environment. This is a high profile role and will require excellent academics, communications skills, broad finance leadership and management experience.
