A new opportunity has arisen to join a Private Equity backed retail company who are seeking a high calibre Chief Financial Officer to join their highly experienced, motivated and entrepreneurial board.

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing all finance activity of the group, having complete responsibility for the finance function including the improvement and development of systems, processes and controls and the mentoring of the finance team. You will take the lead in assessing long term financial trends and highlighting where change needs to be implemented to improve the bottom line. In addition you will manage the groups risk exposure, reviewing sales and income against actual figure and ensure the company is meeting their financial and legal responsibilities.

You will be an experienced Chief financial officer with a track record of success in adding value and nurturing growth in a business.

Your expertise will include:

• Restructuring and change implementation
• Management of banking relationships, facilities and refinancing
• Financial reporting and planning
• Steaming lining the current finance function and promoting efficiency
• Cash flow management & revenue recognition

The ideal candidate will qualified accountant (preferably CA) with an extensive number one in finance retail and PE background. Experience of tight cash flow and debt management is a prerequisite. We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills who is adept at developing key relationships, both internally and externally.
