The roles principal Accountabilities will include
- Maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Ledger
- Assist in the preparation of Management Accounts
- Ensure all Entities are coded correctly on general and nominal ledger
- Assist the Financial Controller in the up keep of the nominal ledger and cashbook and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements
- Optimisation of working capital with debtors being chased in a timely manner

JOB PURPOSE
To deliver day to day account administrative support to the Financial Controller and Tournament Accountant for the Ryder Cup and European Tour owned and staged events. This will cover the Regular, Senior and Challenge Tour. To ensure the internal control environment is adhered to and improved when appropriate.
SCOPE/DIMENSIONS
Ryder Cup Turnover £54 Million in a home match year, £12 million in an away match year and £2 million in a non event year. European Tour Championship Management Department Turnover £36 Million per annum.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Update the Nominal Ledger and Cashbook under the supervision of the Tournament Financial Controller and ensure it is compliant with internal controls and statutory requirements, this will provide a platform for the completion of 2, 3 & 4 below. (30%)
- In conjunction with the Tournament Accountant, produce Management Accounts for all Challenge
