A market leading retail business with a number of household brands based in Central Leeds is currently looking to add a part-qualified Assistant Accountant to their 40 plus finance team. The company is perfectly positioned in the market for the next 3-5 years and has an enviable portfolio of household brands as their customer base.

This position will be working in one of their mainstream divisions with a very talented finance team that will give the candidate huge exposure and genuine prospects to develop in the future and become a fully qualified accountant with a view to senior management team in the long-term. The role will report to the finance manger and is a varied position that will include management accounting, sales and profit analysis, costings and monthly reviews of budget with non-finance stakeholders.

It is important that the candidate is keen to study towards CIMA or ACCA and is dynamic, adaptable and driven individual with the ambition to secure a more senior role in the next 12-18 months. Good excel skills advantageous but not essential.
